What is "Anye"?
Anye means the Sankrit for "others". Anye Apparel is an innovative social enterprise promoting altruism, compassion and loving kindness, which is believed to lead to genuine human happiness. This is explained in a book I recommend called Lovingkindness: The Revolutionary Art of Happiness:
"Qualities like loving-kindness and compassion actually make us happier, which means we're more resilient and capable." Sharon Salzberg.
What does Anye Apparel do?
Anye achieve this by setting a great example to the world: Not only are their products ethically sourced, sweatshop-free and produced using Eco fabrics such as organic cotton, recycled polyester and bamboo. (This reflects their pricing, which is pay by donation level). Anye’s dedication and purpose is to support children, particularly who are HIV positive, and cover educational costs of the youth from rural areas in India, Nepal and Tibet. They also contribute to educational programs for young women and girls, as well as liberating animals.
How can you help?
With your love and support, by buying the equivalent of just one garment means you are sending a child to school for two weeks!
“100% of the profits from each t-shirt is donated to either the Tara Children’s Project, an orphanage for HIV affected children and youth in Bodh Gaya, India”
or “The Pundarika Humanitarian Foundation, an amazing organization that provides pioneering education programs for women and girls from rural Nepal and Tibet, who would not otherwise have access to education."
Therefore, when you wear Anye apparel, you can look and feel great, because your purchase directly contributes to other peoples happiness and well-being.
I am a big fan of inspirational quotes and Anye Apparel incorporate spiritual and positive slogans into their catchy and creative designs, in order to beautifully imprint on the mind and plant virtuous seeds of peace and love!
